The EX4 like any other files server/storage doesn’t work out of the box, needs to be configured. The RAID must be chosen and configured (Raid 0 or 1 or 5 or GBOD). In addition, I need to download and update to the latest firmware plus the software updates. At home I have a test bench network and a very fast internet to accomplish this, for this reason it will be much faster and cheaper to perform the first portion of the configuration at home. Once this is accomplished, I still will need to complete the EX4 setup at your home connecting all your devices to it. To configure the EX4 at home It will probably take a couple of hours, but I will charge you only one equal to $ xx.xx.
I always preconfigure and test the new devices at my bench to guarantee a smooth and flawless delivery as possible.
