Unlayer an Adobe CS3 Photoshop file (PSD file)

Hello  - I have an older web page for my company created in an Adobe CS3 Photoshop file (PSD file). There are some embedded pictures in that file that are layer into the final view. How can I unlayer the file and copy the pictures I need from this file, or otherwise get them?

If they are on their own layer, you just right click on that layer and choose
Duplicate Layer, Destination->New.

If the whole image is flattened, you'll need to select, then copy those objects.
There are many ways in which you can create a selection in Photoshop (Quick Select, Magic Wand, Color Range, Lasso Tool, Pen, Painted Mask etc.)

Your choice depends on the border contrast, resolution and background, so I would need to see the file to give further advice.

HTH,
Dan

The images ... thanks
Dan did an excellent job of guiding me through accessing some photos in a Photoshop file. He even pulled those needed pictures for me and posted them on this site. An excellent job and response to my question.
