Android Tablets in School or Work Domain
Hi all,
I am trying to put together a proposal for a local school. They want to use Android tablets for their pupils. That in itself is easy but obviously key considerations I'm trying to resolve are:
- Can students authenticate on a windows domain to access their network folder to save their work?
- Can anyone recommend a tool to bulk manage Android tablets? (push an app on to all, brick device on theft, etc).
- How easy is printing from an Android to a network printer?
I'm hoping to use Server 2012 R2 running the Active Directory with Samsung Galaxy Tabs or Google Nexus tablets.

I wind up using the Kindle more because it is smaller and easier to carry.
