Using SRM With MS SQL DB Servers

We have 3 SQL DBs we're putting off-site into data centre.  We have a second stable site so we
plan to use SRM (we use VMware) to replicate data over as a a DR site.  The questions is, if we suddenly lose
comms and we bring the SQL servers up on the new site, what can we expect?  Is it like a power-out on the SQL server and
with that the possibility of the SQL server coming up in recovery mode?
