Hi!
I have 20,000 cells with names in them. Some are individuals, some are families. These are in column A. In column B every cell is filled with the word individual. I need to fill in B with the word family for any cell in column A that has "&" in it. I am thinking I use an "if" formula, but I'm not sure how to get the results I need. I'm not familiar with how to use "if" formulas.
Can anyone help me? Is this possible? Thanks in advance for your help!

So, I've put my formula in and used the auto-fill tool to pull it down to the other cells. You can see the result in the attached document.
