asked on sbs 2k11 files missing for uses with permissions
Hi,
I was playing with the permissions in sbs2k11 and I blocked the everyone user from coming in and noticed my permission for the allowed users all the files disappeared.. I was able to get most documents back but there a bunch still missing. .
what should I do, help please..

It was a permissions problem and I figured it out on my own
Restoring data backup should restore ACL of the file too. But you will probably loose 1 days work.
Otherwise go to advanced security setting on root folder - set administrator as owner and force it to apply to sub folders and files.
Personally id rather go for the backup option
