I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Uptrends https://www.uptrends.com/tools/website-speed-test says that the first response takes almost 14 seconds and you are loading 83 files some of which depend on previous files.

@dave if you run that test again, you will see that there is a few second pause before anything starts to load.  Is that a server thing or site thing?

I said above that it took 14 seconds before anything loaded.  ??  Typically that means it takes that long for the server code to read the database and assemble the page.
