Excel 2016 displays blank opening (dbl.click) .csv file

Hi,

At a customer site with Office2016 installed for all users, on one pc when dbl.clicking a .csv file, Excel2016 launches but nothing at all is displayed. the same .csv opens correctly on another pc with Excel2016 installed.

we are able to import the .csv text file into a blank excel sheet but this is time-consuming as it requires several steps including choosing comma as delimiter... etc

Both PCs run Win7ProSP1 64-bit.

Thanks
Jay

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is it a possibility that the file is actually opening, but is in a position where it's not visible on the screen?
Try this:  View tab.. Arrange All button.. Cascade
