Anyone know why this would be? The full backup in the same maintenance plan works but the differential doesn't. BTW - setup is identical in the sub plan. Working perfectly for approx 3 months - as of last Thursday getting the following:
Executing the query "BACKUP DATABASE [BBNC] TO DISK = N'\\\\roadrunner\\h..." failed with the following error: "Cannot open backup device '\\\\roadrunner\\honeypot\\SMBBackupShare\\BBNC\\BBNC_backup_2015_12_03_160004_2129988.bak’.
Operating system error 64(The specified network name is no longer available.).
BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.". Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly.
I think it is the double wacks - but the full works without issue
