Upgrade SCCM 2012 R2 to Latest Version
Hello, our Microsoft System Center server is currently at version: Microsoft System Center 2012 R2. We would like to upgrade to the latest version. Should I first upgrade the server from SCCM 2012 R2 to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 and then update all the clients (a lot)? And then should I upgrade the server again from SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 CU5 and then upgrade all the clients yet again?
Or can I skip the intermediate step? I'm trying to only upgrade the clients once if possible. Any other gotchas? I hope the clients don't auto/randomly reboot when they get upgraded, anyone know for sure? Thanks.
