I see in 4.x, 5.1 that i can set a Scheduled Task specific for powering on/off a vm, but the only option i have for scheduling a task in 5.5 is to create &quot;New Virtual Machine&quot;.

Running vm version 10, esxi 5.5...no option for that if i click the vm, Manage tab, Scheduled Tasks button.<br />

VM is currently powered off.<br />

Options given:<br />
Power On, Migrate, Clone to VM, Edit Resource Settings, Take Snapshot<br />
Greyed out: Shut Down, Restart, Power off, Suspend, Reset.

if I use the vSphere Client, ESXi 5.5, I get all the options.

I can't edit any settings with the vsphere client. I have to use the web client because i'm using vm hw version 10.

I need to setup a scheduled startup and shutdown time for a couple of servers, which happen to be vmware 5.5 virtual machines. &nbsp;Suggestions? &nbsp;I was hoping there was a tool within vmware vsphere web client, but i can't remember there being one and can't find anything built in.<br />
