Upgrade vmware 5.5 to 6 guest packets dropped

I have upgraded my vmware 5.5 to 6. All servers have VMXNET3 network cards and Windows 2008 r2 as OS.

Now i receive errors from my monitoring software every 10 minutes.: Guest Dropped Packets (Received): 4 Guest Dropped Packets

I tried:

1)     Click Start > Control Panel > Device Manager.
    Right-click vmxnet3 and click Properties.
    Click the Advanced tab.
Click Small Rx Buffers and increase the value. The default value is 512  and the maximum is 8192.
Click Rx Ring #1 Size and increase the value. The default value is 1024 and the maximum is 4096.

2) Updated vmware with latest patches

Any ideas/solutions for this problem ?

1. you hardware is on the HCL for 6.0 ?
2. network interface cards are on the HCL for 6.0 ?
3. Update all server hardware with the latest firmware?

2) VMXNET3 i think is compatible ?
3) Not yet done
1 & 3 that's the first things you need to check.

1) Compatible at HP site
3) I am using the normal version of vmware 6, not the HP version; How to update the firmware...Everything is locked behind a login screen; or do you mean install the HP version and drivers ?

VMware, a software company founded in 1998, was one of the first commercially successful companies to offer x86 virtualization. The storage company EMC purchased VMware in 1994. Dell Technologies acquired EMC in 2016. VMware’s parent company is now Dell Technologies. VMware has many software products that run on desktops, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS, which allows the virtualizing of the x86 architecture. Its enterprise software hypervisor for servers, VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi), is a bare-metal hypervisor that runs directly on the server hardware and does not require an additional underlying operating system.
