we have some users who dont have an exchange mailbox, but one of our applications stores records as msg. when they try to click the msg files, outlook sends them down the add an email account windows, which obviously they cannot complete as they dont have an exchange mailbox. Is there anyway to use outlook just as a standalone piece of software so they can view the msg files without needing outlook configured with an exchange mailbox? Previously I've seen suggestions on here in similar situations of adding a random POP account with made up credentials, - but that doesnt work if the connection is failing. There must &nbsp;be a way round it but cant find anything obvious, its outlook 2010. i have no easy way to test this in my role
