1 or 2 every hour (thousands of deployments a year) WDS, especially if its the same config as Cliff suggested above.<br />

Sysprep has it's own issues SID's, GUID's just too name a few. <br />

What are your thoughts on creating an image of Server 2012 R2 in WDS to use for deploying on new servers so that I can cut down on time to install and configure them? Is this good or bad practice. All I can find online is a split 50/50 but no one makes a compelling argument in either direction.

Create an image of Server 2012 R2 with WDS

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0. Windows Server 2012, now in its second release (Windows Server 2012 Release 2) includes Foundation, Essentials, Standard and Datacenter, and does not support IA-32 or IA-64 processors.
