How to cancel or terminate SharePoint 2013 database "Upgrade in Progress" status?

Dear EE experts,

We would like to ask for tech support on How to cancel or terminate SharePoint 2013 database "Upgrade in Progress" status, because we tried to upgrade the db of our SharePoint, but I think it stuck to 5 of 6 and it's just 10%, didn't run anymore.
Though we tried already to stop or terminate its session, but why when we checked the Servers and its Status inside "Servers in Farm", the status is still "Upgrade in Progress"?
Does it mean that it is still running? That's why backup isn't running anymore...
Is it necessary to do an upgrade? Because it showed error from SP Health Monitor (but now it's gone)...

We're afraid that if we run the upgrade again, it'll be stuck again to 5 of 6 and stuck to 10% only.
Or is it normal? How long does it take before it finished upgrading?

Upgrade time depends on database size.
Please check database status from central admin site.
Please check upgrade logs to confirm if it is running and stalled.
