Won't it just reinstall automatically at some point? I assume Microsoft will have an updated fix pretty quickly anyway.

Back ground: Running Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 Professional from SBS 2011 server with Exchange 2010 using roaming profiles.<br />

Yesterday my machine performed an Automatic Update from Microsoft. As a result, my Outlook settings were somehow changed. For example emails do not show images anymore and my reading pane is turned off.<br />

No worries, I change the settings and move on.... BUT, it will not save my settings.<br />
<br />
Solutions tried:<br />
1) Checking the icon to make sure it is not set for Compatibility Mode.<br />
2) Rebooting machine (more than once).<br />
3) Checking to make sure there is not a phantom Outlook.exe running in processes after I shut down Outlook.<br />
4) Checking the Sound Notification setting.<br />

Anybody have any ideas how to get Outlook 2010 to save my settings.
