I am considering migrating files from a file server to Google Drive. &nbsp;These files would primary be Word and Excel files.<br />

The issue/condundrum I am having is how to resolve format questions.<br />
<br />
For example: &nbsp;if I migrate files and leave them in Microsoft formats, the users will need to be sure to always edit them directly from Word or Excel with the Google Drive plugin OR be sure to use the proper Chrome extensions to allow for native Office format editing. &nbsp;If they fail to do that, the document will get duplicated in Google format, which will cause issues.<br />

Or, I could migrate all to Google format, but then the users are forced into utilizing browsers to edit those files.<br />
