cardscan software
I have cadscan software team executive but the scanner is not being recognised. it was working previously before we disconnected the PC. now I have connected it back and the software will not pick up the scanner. this is on windows 7 and the scanner model is cadscan 62. I have reinstalled the software but the software does not detect. when I plug it in the software does not respond, its only when the scanner is unplugged the software seems to work properly. is there some setting to change in windows 7 ?
Is this W7 in your Citrix environment, as mentioned in your later question? If so, does the software work outside the Citrix environment, that is, running directly on a W7 system without Citrix?

no this does not relate to citrix. just standalone windows 7

Was it disconnected and reconnected to the same PC or a different one?
I presume it's a DYMO CardScan — what model? If it's not a DYMO, let me know the manufacturer and model.

same PC it was connected, and the model is dynmo cadscan 62

OK, I'm sure you mean DYMO CardScan 62. Did you reconnect it to the same USB port or a different one? And is it a USB2 or USB3 port?

Look in Device Manager. It's probably in the Imaging devices section, but it could be somewhere else. Is it there? If so, does it have an exclamation point?

no it comes up as a cardscan 62 in device manager
