No problems here, we have Equallogic (iSCSI), NetApp (NFS and iSCSI), EMC (iSCSI), Synology NAS (NFS)<br />

It's just a different datastore vsanDatastore.<br />

There are very little limitations, remember it's the resources on the Host which the VMs use, so if you have VMs on an Equallogic datastore, hosted on an ESXi host, which also has vsanDatastore, the VM could also have virtual disks on the vsandatastore.<br />

in this way, you can host VMs OS Boot Partitions on slow storagem and their databases or logs virtual disks on fast vsan storage.

So, if I expand the vMotion network that I have on the non-vSAN hosts to the vSAN hosts, I still can not vMotion VM's?<br />
For storage vMotion I can see that it can be more complicated but is it possible?
