I think that is the right screen. There should be a route for traffic from the VPN LAN (e.g. 172.23.1.X) to your inside LAN (e.g. 192.168.1.x).<br />

Are you able to ping the gateway for your inside LAN when connected via VPN? Try running a tracert to the gateway once you are connected and post the result, obscuring any identifiable information, of course.

Try with the split tunnel <br />
define a server traffic in ACL and define under ipsec-general attributes <br />
What I understand by looking is that every traffic is going to your server only <br />
so you will be able to ping your server <br />
But as your server does not have any route information of network traffic can not pass <br />
with this configuration you can only reach where your server can reach.<br />

I can establish a VPN connection to our Cisco ASA 5505 (using Cisco's VPN client version 5.0.07.0290) (or at least it appears I can establish the connection looking at the stats). &nbsp;However, once this connection is established, I can't access (or even ping) our network servers. &nbsp;I can, however, log onto the servers via RDP without the VPN, so the servers are accessible and online.<br />
<br />
To the best of my knowledge, nothing has changed at either end of the VPN. &nbsp;The issue started about a week ago.<br />

Any suggestions?<br />

I can establish a VPN connection to our Cisco ASA 5505 (using Cisco's VPN client version 5.0.07.0290) (or at least it appears I can establish the connection looking at the stats).  However, once this connection is established, I can't access (or even ping) our network servers.  I can, however, log onto the servers via RDP without the VPN, so the servers are accessible and online.

To the best of my knowledge, nothing has changed at either end of the VPN.  The issue started about a week ago.

Any suggestions?

Cisco VPN connection OK, but can't access network

A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or travelling users access to a central organizational network securely. VPNs encapsulate data transfers using secure cryptographic methods and other security mechanisms to ensure that only authorized users can access the network and that the data cannot be intercepted.

Cisco PIX is a dedicated hardware firewall appliance; the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) is a firewall and anti-malware security appliance that provides unified threat management and protection the PIX does not. Other Cisco devices and systems include routers, switches, storage networking, wireless and the software and hardware for PIX Firewall Manager (PFM), PIX Device Manager (PDM) and Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM).

Cisco

Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) is a protocol suite for secure Internet Protocol (IP) communications by authenticating and encrypting each IP packet of a communication session. IPsec includes protocols for establishing mutual authentication between agents at the beginning of the session and negotiation of cryptographic keys to be used during the session.
