Add whitelist IP addresses to Comcast cable modem

Is it possible to add whitelisted IP addresses to a Comcast cable modem?

A customer of ours who uses Sales Force wants to be sure that they are fully compliant with the Salesforce requirements listed in the below article.

This customer only has a Comcast cable modem and doesn't have any other firewalls or routers in place.

From the article https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewSolution?id=000003652 Salesforce recommends that customers whitelist the following subnet mask IP's:

IPv4 Networks

IPv4 IP Address Ranges

Date Added

ARIN

96.43.144.0/20

96.43.144.0 - 96.43.159.254

136.146.0.0/15

136.146.0.0 - 136.147.255.254

204.14.232.0/21

204.14.232.0 - 204.14.239.254

RIPE

85.222.128.0/19

85.222.128.0 - 85.222.159.254

April 14, 2015

John, you might want to post a link as to how to do that.  It is not at all clear on my Comcast modem.
I use a different service - we have a couple here and I ask the ISP to put their modem in Bridge mode. I do that with other ISP's as well for clients.
