Messenger APP on Macbook

I have a Macbook user that likes to use his computer to send iMessages from the messenger app. He is currently using Office 365 for email and to sync his contacts with his Outlook on his PC and Macbook. The contacts within the message app though do not seem to reflect what is in his Office 365 account. Is there a process for syncing them? Or at least doing an Export/ Import once in a while to keep them somewhat up to date?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The Messages App uses the Mac's Contacts App to store it's contacts, so if you want the contacts to be synced to / from 365, add the 365 account to Contacts and then they will see their 365 contacts in the Messages App.

Contacts> Accounts> Select Exchange, add the 365 Account Details / Credentials.
