You did not offer to much details about your problem. <br />
There are counterfeit (fake) devices out there. I got one of those that should be supported for all Windows versions but it is not, so I had to buy new one. Old one works with Windows XP &amp;&nbsp;7 (and gives me happiness of blue screen sometimes) :), but not 8 or above. Some versions of chip do not support Windows 8 or above. &nbsp;Maybe you have one of those. You can find driver and more details about <a href="http://www.prolific.com.tw/US/ShowProduct.aspx?p_id=225&pcid=41" rel="ugc">PL2303 Windows Driver Download</a> if that's your chip in device.
