Suggestion for a site getting hacked
A client's site is getting attacked and the ISP has blacklisted the IPs that hacked them but I think after 1-2 hours , these IPs get released and they get hacked ago. The client doesn't have router and just an firewall. I can only think of blocking that IPs via ACL (denying traffic from them ) or black hole those traffic by send it to null. Any other suggestions?

Is the site dynamic/script or static html? If its dynamic is it running one of the open source content management systems like Wordpress or Joomla? The plugins for these are frequently how sites are compromised.
