asked on

Java custom GUI component knob to select option A, B, C.

How would I go about creating a new component which acts like a group of JRadioButtons? But instead of displaying a bunch of circle dots to select, it displays a knob which can be turned to point to the selection?

I assume I'll need to create some images of a knob in positions A, B, C. What type of image should those be in? (.gif?)

Thank you. I learned a lot studying that code.

Java

Java is a platform-independent, object-oriented programming language and run-time environment, designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible such that developers can write one set of code across all platforms using libraries. Most devices will not run Java natively, and require a run-time component to be installed in order to execute a Java program.
