Continuous USB output power supply
I have bought some "submersible pump" of very low-cost from eBay which are
USB powered for my aquarium:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H2.Xsubmersible+USB+powered+pump.TRS0&_nkw=submersible+USB+powered+pump&_sacat=0
Unfortunately each time when I swap USB power source, appears that the water
flow in the other direction & would damage the pump though it's described as
'submersible'. It's troublesome for me to take it out of aquarium each time
to replace with new power supply.
Is there some sort of "Y" USB cable where there's 2 inputs & 1 output that anyone
could recommend? Do provide amazon or ebay or the online merchants' links
I've seen some USB HDD that has this Y shaped USB cable as it requires an
extra power input to power it up : will this help & where can I buy it?

What about a USB splitter like the one above? But it needs
to have all female ports; the one above has one male & 2 female

like any AC device, you can unplug it, or install a power on/off switch

I need a USB power source that is "uninterruptible" & at the same time,
this source of USB does not tap its power from an AC source.
Any such gadget?

The above item meets my needs : I can bring back power banks (which I've just charged in
my office) to recharge the above device & it will continue to give power supply to the
aquarium submersible pump.
In a way, a low-cost powerbank (ideally one with 2 USB output ports) that could be
charged while providing output power at the same time meets my needs. Many
power banks can't provide power while it's being charged.
Note that I don't want to touch AC power (as I'll be charging powerbanks in the
office using AC in the office & then rotate the charged powerbanks to home to
charge this device/powerbank that is powering the submersible pum).
Also, ideally while it's being charged, this device it will not use its own built-in
battery's power but draw power from the external powerbank that is charging it.
However, it's rather costly. Does the following as built-in battery that will provide "UPS"
(ie uninterruptible power supply) :

Sorry sent the last post before I finish:
Are devices below a powerbank or do they have a built-in battery?

The above is much lower priced & water-proof but I'm not sure if : while it's being charged, can it output
power at the same time?

With the item from amazon link above, don't plan to remove any battery but I'll
bring back power banks daily to charge this amazon item so that it continues to
provide continuous uninterruptible power supply.
Is my assumption that the amazon item above could output power while it's
being charged?

they don't say so, but i think it can be possible

One more requirement:
is there a powerbank that could be recharged faster via its mini USB port (& not via an AC power adapter)
than it charging the external device (say iPhone 6 Plus)?
Effectively, I'm looking for sort of power bank that
a) has pass-through feature (ie it could charge external device while it's being recharged)
b) it could be recharged faster (via its input USB port & not via an AC power adapter)
than it charging the external device

Think I've found something:
1. Use Romoss sofun 4 to charge the aquarium pump through the usual USB output port (5V 1Amp)
2. Bring back Romoss sofun 6 or 9 (which has eUSB output ports that give higher
output voltages/current) to charge the sofun 4 via sofun 4's microUSB input port)

Still takes about four hrs to charge the sofun 4 via this eUSB method (via normal laptop USB
port, it takes up to 6 hrs).
Perhaps I shd swap the Sofun 4 with AllPowersDirect powerbank which supposedly has shorter recharge time
port, it takes up to 6 hrs).

So happen to notice that Sofun 4 could output power while it's being recharged.
Haven't get to try out AllPowersDirect powerbank yet

Anyone know of any powerbank with microUSB input port that could
take in 2.5A or 3A & the powerbank could provide output power while
it's being recharged?
Pls provide link in eBay/Amazon to buy it if any
