Replace multiple drives on EMC CLariion

Is it possible to replace failed drives on an EMC Clariion when more than one drive has failed?

Yes but you really need to provide more info. In navisphere it should tell you what disks are failed and what raid groups. If you have hot spares on each DAE they should have taken over. I am assuming no data loss depending on you raid config.

No data loss. They are in different arrays. The logs say "cru powered down" after drive was replaced. The drive replacement utility fails because there is more than one drive failure? I'll post exact messages later.

Disk replacement wizard fails with message - storage system is not a candidate for customer disk replacement. Contact your service provider for further assistance.

Does this mean dell need to do this?

When the disk is physically replaced the logs say - a rebuild has been started for the database of a fru, cru unit aborted, cru powered down, cru type unsupported.
