Brush face plates or proper sockets for cabling a house
Planning to network my UK detached home as part of a rebuild.
Should I be using brush face plates to pull cables through rather than have connections to the wall for HDMI, ethernet etc etc?
Thx.

just run the wire so it fits in the box leaving lots of slack but just a cut piece of cable (not terminated in a connector block)

What's your reasoning for suggesting it this way rather than terminating it and going the full distance or using a ethernet face plate?
