Cisco Catalyst 3950-X configuration
Hi.. I have 5 Cisco Catalyst switches: a Catalyst 3950-X switch (our core switch (routing enabled) and four 2960-x switches.. these all make up the backplane of our network. Â My question: Â Do in need to duplicate all of the VLAN information found in the core to the other switches? The core switch has: VLAN10 VLAN20 VLAN30 and VLAN 40.. with the associated IP Addresses and IP Helper Address.. Â in the other switches.. the VLANS are all defined, but they do not have the IP Address or the Helper Address listed for any of the VLANs as they are in the core switch. Â The reason for this question is that we are having some network issues dealing with wireless clients and I'm just check to see if this is a potential problem or not. Â Thanks - Bill
