Backup to Datastore?
Hi,
We have currently run out of space on our backup server which runs on a vm. We have 1.22TB of free space on our datastore on our ESXI. Is it possible to back to that datastore?
There’s 1.22TB off free space on the vm datastore. Can we not make that a temporary backup target until we are up and running with the new kit? It’s a VMFS volume so not really ideal but if we shrink the volume and convert the free space to iScsi wouldn’t that work?
