Have a Win 2008R2 machine that requires to have JAVA 8u65 installed, currently have 8u51 installed. When doing the upgrade I get pass the UAC then all i get is a white box with no java welcome screen. If I x out of the white square it asks if i want to cancel the install. anybody had this issue. I am going to try installing using the .msi. I can uninstall 8u51 and reinstall with no issues.

Here is a Java.com Support article on force uninstalling Java 8. It involves registry entries so read it carefully and exercise caution using the registry.
This topic area includes legacy versions of Windows prior to Windows 2000: Windows 3/3.1, Windows 95 and Windows 98, plus any other Windows-related versions including Windows Mobile.
