We tried using VEAMM to test our disaster recovery scenario on our IBM Server.
We shutdown our server running on ESXI V5.5 and copied the virtual server directory onto a USB disk using a client PC on the network.
We used VEAMM Backup and SCP V3.03.
The files copied over fine.
We then installed some new hard disks onto our server, installed ESXI V5.5 Update 2 onto the server.
We then connected via VEAMM and tried to copy the folder back to the new ESXI server.
However the process error and we cannot copy the files over.
We have a free licensed version of ESXi.
Also the ESXI on the original is V5.5 UPDATE 1.
Could these be the reason we cannot copy the files over?
If not, what could be causing this problem?
