This is the best comment so far although I still don't have a solution. &nbsp;I also tried upgrading a Windows 7 workstation to Windows 10 on the same network. &nbsp;Works fine but remote access is also blocked.<br />

Some other suggestions would be welcome.

in SBS2011(not sure about 2008, but usually very similar) SBS Console has options in the network-&gt;computers section to change UserAccess in the computer properties <br />
Also make sure you uncheck the &quot;Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication&quot; is cleared and firewall is disabled for testing. <br />

I'd grab a laptop and a small switch and test it with two machines in a small isolated network, to eliminate everything the might be interfering. <br />
<br />
Also search through your GPO settings in an elevated command prompt. <br />
gpresult /Scope Computer /v <br />
<br />
or run rsop.msc <br />
<br />
most likely there's a GPO blocking it if you've done all the basic testing.

Thanks for your input but I don't see how this is a server problem as the server is unchanged. &nbsp;Indeed the W7 stations that have not yet been upgraded still have remote desktop and RWW rights. &nbsp;Something is different in W10.<br />

Has nobody else run into this problem and fixed it or figured out a workaround?<br />

I just noticed that the W10 stations aren't reporting back their security settings either.

you have to keep in mind that in an active directory the server pushes out rules and resitctions on the client machines, your server may not have changed, but quite obviously the client machine has, the SBS 2008 didn't know about windows 10 when it was made. <br />
