Excel 2010, 2013 Function HELP!
Hello Gurus,
I have attached workbook with three tabs. Matrix, Data and Cure
The data tab needs to pull the data from the Cure tab by area and period.
The Matrix tab need to pull the data from the data tab by area and period. Simple Vlookups will not get me there..
Any help you could offer is greatly appreciated.

First question i have is what is a helper column.. Can you help with the other function for the data tab.. I am using a single vlookup to pull the data from the Cure tab... I am uploading the excel workbook again for your review.. thanks for your help.

sorry i meant helper row.
if you check the "Data" sheet first row. i have puts text there and i used that first row in the formula inside matrix sheet. the reason i used that helper row becuase you had merged cells and i did not touch that instead i used the helper row B1 to J1 and then has changed the font color to white so it is invisible.
