I have Windows 2012 Hyper-V with several VMs. I did not notice this until recently, but I noticed (1) TS1_8B2A55E7-3F02-4716-B00
and (2) APP1_2A75C8C8-075F-4363-8C
I did not create snapshots by myself but I remember APP1 and TS1 frozen, so I had to turn off these VMs in Hyper-V Manager and turn it back on once or twice.
My question is, if I did not create them personally, who created it and why?
How can I remove these? Fyi I created a snapshot for Tax2 VM ( Tax2_4277DCEB-6D56-437C-92

I will try it on TS1 and APP1 sometime this week. I am replacing this server with a newer Hyper-V Server, so I will try to remove these snapshots after new Hyper-V server is up and running to be on safe side.
Is there a way to get an alert/report automatically when "unwanted" snapshot(s) are created?

Hyper-V is a native hypervisor; it can create virtual machines on x86-64 systems and supersedes Windows Virtual PC as the hardware virtualization component of the client editions of Windows NT. A server computer running Hyper-V can be configured to expose individual virtual machines to one or more networks. Hyper-V Server supports remote access via Remote Desktop Connection. Administration and configuration of the host OS and the guest virtual machines is generally done over the network.
