kodak dental imaging software - patient directory

Hello experts, wondering if there is someone here with Kodak dental imaging software experience.
I need to move the patient directory to point to the server but I'm unable to edit that from about menu. how can I change the patient directory to point to the server location?

Path :C:\TW
      Patient directory :C:\TW\J.rvg\J0000047

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Which version are you running?
On current (Carestream) installs the settings should be under Options>Preferences...  General tab
As Configuration path and Projection Path respectively

If you are using Kodak Launcher then Tools > Options

Can you check the registry for a key called "Trophy dataPath" ?

hi MASQ,
no registry entry in. there has to be a way to do this.

Agreed

What do you see in KDIS Options > Preferences ?

configuring
frankbustosSystems AdministratorAuthor Commented:
i see the same thing you have.
☠ MASQ ☠Commented:
Then the path is being managed in Dentrix
You'll probably need to set it using a command line.

See the attached which implies that KDIS just uses paths preset in the Patient Management System (in your case Dentrix)

So you should just need path to the Dentrix patient DB (you can get this from ep.exe in Dentrix) KDIS will passthough the patient ID from there.

Hi MASQ,
I tried this and it didn't work. I also called the Links department in Dentrix and they said this is something KODAK needs to assist with.
