Did they enable &quot;Autodiscover&quot;.<br />

Outlook 2016 can only connect to Exchange using AutoDiscover feature. A special DNS record must be configured for your domain in order for you to take advantage of the Outlook 2016. <br />
<br />
If you already created a profile and Outlook 2016 is open there should be a &quot;File&quot; menu option top left.<br />

Click on File &gt;&nbsp;Account Settings<br />

Autodiscover is turned on for those who are onsite and has been for years. So if i'm understanding this correctly we won't be able to use Outlook 2016 from an offsite location because it can't connect to the autodiscover service.
