Hi

One of our WSUS server hangs because the w3wp.exe exceed the private memory limit. We think we have this problem:
http://www.alexandreviot.net/2014/09/12/configmgr-2012-wsuspool-crashes/

So now I need to monitor the w3wp.exe. What is the easiest way to create a log or event viewer entry if the private memory exceeds its limit? I know there is way with ProcDump and want to know other methods.

Many thanks in advance.

i believe there is a setting in the application pool properties to write to the event log.
what i was thinking of is realted to application pool recycling and to write an event when it recycles for any of those reasons. if you wanted to read about this more: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc771318(v=ws.10).aspx
