Mini HDMI, Micro HDMI, or what??

Hi, I have an IDea7 tablet. No literature on it, but the sellers say it can use hdmi. (this is what I bought: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YE1IKEE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00)

I have some photos, because I am not sure what my connector is. I want to connect it to my TV, which has HDMI. On the left in the first photo is the mini-usb port. The adapter cord supplied goes into the mini-usb, but the other end neither fits into a standard HDMI port, or into the end of an HDMI cable

If you can tell me what cord to buy (it runs Android), that would be a great help. Thanks.

The first picture is an ordinary HDMI port. Have you tried a standard HDMI cable?

The small port is a standard micro-USB - the cable you show connected is an OTG connector which allows you to connect to other Android devices via their USB connectors.

The larger connector looks like a mini-HDMI (judging from the comparative scale against the micro-SD port next to it)

The HDMI port is output only but the micro-USB is bi-directional

Thank you, I have not tried a standard hdmi cable. I'll try that first and then come back.
