OUTLOOK 2010 Shared Calender appointments showing as all day event

Hi,

We have a client who is the PA for their MD and he has a flight starting in America -5 and arriving in the UK GMT this appointment starts at 18:15 EST and lands 0625 GMT.
What is happening is its showing as an all day when its shouldn't.

We have tried this on another machine that has 2007 and the issue is not repeated.

So any ideas would be much appreciated to resolve this issue

Cheers

How does it look in OWA?

Make sure you have all updates installed for Office 2010.

When you look at it in 2007 on the other machine, are you still looking at the same mailbox?

Hi ScottCha,

The office is up to date and the OWA is showing it correctly, but the PA machine is still showing it incorrectly which will in the long run confuse her.

Cheers
Here is a image of what the issue is.
This should be displayed as an appointment not as an all day eevnt in the top of the page.
Outlook.PNG
It may be a view setting. Does it look any different with another choice of views? Or if someone views the calendar in Outlook on another system?
Would there be any way to try Office 2013?  It almost sounds like Office 2010 is not dealing with the time difference well in this case.

Since OWA is showing it correctly, the data is good on the server.  Outlook 2010 is not showing it correctly while Office 2007 is.

Can you delete the Outlook profile for the PA and re-create it?
I have reset the view to default, and nothing change.

But what i did find that there is a windows update that causes the issue https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3114409

I have looked for this installed on the PC but it not listed in the installed updates, but is showing that it was installed in the update history which is a bit annoying..

To put 2013 on it we would need to purchase a new license.

Cheers
