Excel Slicer that Utilizes Text Filters functions such as "Contains"?

Hi Experts,
I'm using an OLAP Slicer connected to PowerPivot in Excel 2013 and would like to know if there is a way to to do the following with the slicer without resorting to an ActiveX ListBox VBA Solution.

1. Have custom sliceritems in the Slicer as opposed to representing all of the unique values in the column of data
2. Have the Slicer function on the text filtering functionality of "contains"

I am trying to get around a problem where I would have to concatenate values across 6 columns of repeating data and results in some 100 possible concatenated sliceritems permutations.

Thanks JimJam, I was hoping their might be a way to approach this using DAX in PowerPivot and some related tables, but I'm finding that to be a dead-end as well. I'll award points and let you know if I run into any trouble making an ActiveX ListBox solution.
