Hyper-v VM windows 7 Stuck in System Repair and no system drive when mounted.

I have a VM running on Hyper-v, Windows 10. The host was upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 months ago, the VM file was not upgraded.

This morning the host computer restarted with some power failure. Then I restarted the computer. Other VMs are OK, but one of Windows VMs stuck in scaning System Repair, never ends.
So, I turned it off, mounted the VM harddisk file to the host computer to see if I can recover files from it. It only shows some files under the C drive, rest of them are not showing such as Program Files, Program datas, System32, etc.

I ran SFC /SCANNOW on the attached VM disk, no luck.
How can I recover files? Is this just not showing the system folders for some reason or did I lose all for not showing folders in the c drive?

D drive is hosted in Windows software raid.
The drive letter is D drive. Paging is done on C drive. VM is running on D drive.

When I attach the VHDX to my machine, it shows 32GB used, 92GB free. So, I know there is system folders are there, just not showing..

At this point, not looking for a paid version. And GetDataBack doesn't seem to provide recovering VHDX file either

Nahhh. I think I lost all. I used EASEUS and others, none of them shows the system drive.
I'm shocked, how fragile VM can be. All I did was just restating my PC, hyper-v, then 1 of 4 VMs failed. GONE!!!

It's not Hyper-V.

Any software based RAID is a risk. Especially when it comes to hard stops. Hardware RAID carries the same risks but battery backup or flash based cache are in place to mitigate the possibility of data loss in the event of a power outage.

For mission critical systems and VMs a good backup is required. RAID is not considered a backup.

And, for systems not protected by UPS carrying mission critical workloads disabling a hard drive's on board cache is also a good thing to do.
