Unable to setup / install Cloudera on slave machine.
I am having trouble installing Cloudera on a slave machine. Previously in the install it searches and successfully finds a cluster machine (both master & slave are CentOS7 machines). Then it proceeds to install and I get the following error (see attached image). I also included the error details (see attached). It highlights in red this error line.
socket.gaierror: [Errno -2] Name or service not known
On Cloudera’s support page some suggestions point to changing a file in the /etc (configuration) folder but my folder structure is different. Please advise on anything else I can install / configure / reconfigure. Thanks.

It complains about issue with hostname resolution. Can you confirm DNS on the slave machine is working?

I tested DNS using nslookup and even tested reverse lookup with nslookup, dig and host commands. The slave machine has connectivity.
Regarding the socket error, (socket.gaierror: [Errno -2] Name or service not known), I know this is related to a python command Cloudera uses. Do you think it may also be a python issue?
