Dead Paths on storage attached to vCenter.
Hi there.
Quick query re: removing dead paths from storage.
I have a number of dead paths that can be removed via command similar to:
# esxcli storage core device detached remove -d NAA_ID
Can you just confirm if this command will work on a storage device showing as dead?

Yes it should, or just delete from from the GUI e.g. vSphere Client.

Thanks Andrew. Just one brief, final question on this one. Is there any possibility that running this command on an active host in a cluster could cause problems, such as disconnection or crash?
