RHEL red hat 7.3 how can I upgrade the kernel?

I am getting the error of "no packages marked for update"  when I attempt to update the kernel on a RHEL 7.3

yeah it is registered , I am not at the red hat 7.3 system right now , but I have been reading about yum.conf that there is a log file defined in that , I will see if that yields any useful stuff

I am kinda new to red hat so this is somewhat new to me , but I am reading more as we speak

the goal is to get a kernel upgrade so I can support some stuff I am doing with docker containers

i did what you suggested and here are the results , I dont see anything specfic for a kernel upgrade so I am thinking that you are correct and it is not available ?

thanks , this is very confusing , docker needs 3.16 kerel at least but according to this website
https://access.redhat.com/articles/3078#RHEL7

the latest is 3.10 , but I see references to 3.16. on other places on the internet
http://www.tecmint.com/install-kernel-3-16-in-debian/

I guess I want to get it from
https://www.kernel.org/???

I an new to all this , I am confused
