asked on

Reassigning email address [and mailbox contents] to alternate Active Directory account.

Hello,

Running Exchange 2013.

User1 has email address User1@domain.com.
User2 has no current email address assigned.

The email address and mailbox User1@domain.com needs to be reassigned to User2.
What is the correct procedure to do this?

Thanks in advance.

As a follow up to this question, I proceeded to disable the mailbox so that I could select to connect to a different AD account. However, the account is still not visible.  I have tried a few different commands - perhaps my syntax is not correct.
