How do delete a company in quickbooks 2010

hi experts,

when I open quickbooks I get an option to open 4 companies with the same name. The first one works but the other three don't maybe because they got corrupt. So I did a restore and the first one is the good one now. I need to get rid of those three that don't work so they won't be displayed there. How do I do that? Please see screenshot for details.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To delete a QuickBooks Company file you no longer need (make sure you do NOT need it, because you can’t get it back):

Select File then Open or Restore Company.
Select Open a company file.
In the “file open” window, right click on the company QBW file, then select “delete”. Then cancel the “open”.
