Hello,

I need to run several MSI's in order to install several different applications and I was wondering if anyone can help me on creating a script that can run this installers in order and reboot when it finishes installing the last installer.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Check out PDQ Deploy from admin Arsenal. The free version will accomplish many tasks, but if you need to upgrade its cheap... The amount of time you save deploying software pays for itself immediately. Try free first though

Of course we can create a script, but I agree that using installer software is a better way.

A number of software programs will not install if a pending install (so reboot) is ahead of it. So you need to be sure that you can do what you want.

I do not know of any way to negate a pending install/reboot without causing problems.

You CLEARLY need to test that each one works appropriately, but you can simply use MSIEXEC to install the MSI files.  For each item you have to install, create a separate install line in a batch file using MSIEXEC.

msiexec /i product1.msi /passive
msiexec /i product2.msi /passive
msiexec /i product3.msi /passive

For more information on MSIEXEC run MSIEXEC /?
