Office 365 licensing question

EE pros, when I install office 365 I'm entitled to three licenses. If I decide later that I want to change one of those licenses out due to get a new computer or whatever, may I do so? And is it simple? Thank you in advance.

You are getting a single license tied with your username. It allows you to activate Office on up to 5 PC/Macs and 5 mobile devices at the same time. If you reach the limit, you will have to remove one of them as detailed here: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/office_resource_kit/2014/01/17/office-365-proplus-multiple-devices-and-deactivation/

Vasil,

Thanks for the update.  It's a Personal 365 license so I think I can only have it on 3 devices.  What's disturbing is that when I went to load it on my iPad, it claimed a network problem (although all my other Apps. work on my home network as well as my cellular network.... it gave me a number where a guy tried to tell me my network was the problem and that for a fee they could fix it.  That's BS.

So I used a different email address with the same KEY number.  Do you think that may be the problem?  Would Microsoft potentially see me as not the same person who purchased the Office 365 if I use a different email address and the same KEY?

When you log into the office 365 website there is an option to "Deactivate Install". Once you do that you can then install office on a new device.

Rught, personal is 1 PC only. And afaik it's only valid with the account you used to purchase it. So try using that. You can find the steps to activate here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Find-your-Office-product-key-12a5763a-d45c-4685-8c95-a44500213759#BKMK-ProductKey-NextSteps

My paperwork says I can have it on a PC, iPad and iPhone as a single user.
