Installing IIS on DC is exactly what i did as i had no other option and setting the redirection. And also from hosting provider we told them to redirect abc.com to www.abc.com&nbsp;so our internal staff even typed abc.com it will redirect automatically to www.

OK people, so if I add the toga.com.au DNS A record to the external website IP address, does it going to break DFS share and AD replication ?<br />

Because when I access \\domain.com I can open the shared networks in the domain controllers:<br />
<b>NETLOGON </b>and <b>SYSVOL </b>directories.

Hi All, we have ran into trouble since we have hosted our website (lets say abc.com) to 3rd party vendor. Website works fully externally but not internally. If any types abc.com from internal domain computers it brings up IIS page of domain controller. Yes my predecessor has created same AD name as our website name and now its haunting us. I tried every possible thing (try redirection from IIS on AD but brings us too many redirects, try entering different kind on entries in DNS and so on) but nothing works. Is there any work around and if yes would greatly appreciated if someone can show us the light. We have 2 domain controllers (one is 2008R2 and other 2012R2).
